Been looking forward to this track since I first got word it was in the works & was super excited to find this in my inbox today. Shout out to the homie @ohshitrospit Whaddup doe!!
This was such a good song & pretty deep for kids their age. I wish Bobby Valentino continued to sing songs like this. Peep the Nike Ndestrukt’s at the :48 mark & the OG bred XI’s at 1:50. Not only was there a lot of good music in the 90′s, there were some pretty dope kicks as well.
Detroit’s own T3 is HipHopOfficial’s Artist of the Week. T3 talks about his upcoming solo project & reuniting with Baatin (RIP). Shout out to Burn Rubber. “Can they get it, yup! They can get it….yeeeaahhhhh!”
If you’re in or around Chicago, you definitely don’t want to miss this. The headliners are Carter, Curren$y, Dom Kennedy and Wiz Khalifa. I believe it’s going to be the beginning of November, but as soon as I get the word from my man Hustle Simmons on the date I’ll post it.
Produced by Kno and featuring emcees Natti and Deacon the Villain trading verses with Evidence of Dilated Peoples and Bay Area legend E-40 about society’s uptick in chaos and violence, CunninLynguists‘ Running Wild is the official first single from Strange Journey Volume Two, the second installment of this year’s double release from the trio.
Some new CunningLynguists? Don’t mind if I do. “Strange Journey Volume Two” drops November 3rd.
Not sure about this track. It may just be the fact that it’s weird to hear a MJ track that and not know it word for word, forwards & back. But what I do know, is the “This Is It” Tour was going to be insane. I truly believe MJ was on his way to a big comeback. Long live the King!
Got a chance to hear Mario’s new CD “D.N.A” that’s set to hit selves tomorrow. As a whole, I’m not really feeling it. My favorite tracks are “Break Up” with Gucci Mane & Sean Garrett (which we’ve all heard enough times) & this “Stranded” track. I was really hoping the version of “Before She Said Hi” that I heard around the internets last week was an unfinished version of the song, but was sadly mistaken. That song has potential to be good, but it just sounds so unfinished to me. Vocals are low, just all bad in my opinion. Which is unfortunate because it features one of my favorite artists right now, Big Sean. But to each their own, check it out.
New track off of Royce Da 5’9′s upcoming album “Street Hop”. This track features Little Brother’s/Foreign Exchange’s Phonte & is produced by DJ Premeir. “Street Hop” is due out October 20th.
